Tender spiced chicken meets creamy avocado and fresh vegetables in warm tortillas with zesty lime.

# What You'll Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 2 medium boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 14 ounces)
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
04 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
05 - ½ teaspoon ground cumin
06 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
07 - ½ teaspoon salt
08 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper

→ Wraps & Fillings

09 - 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch diameter)
10 - 1 large ripe avocado, sliced
11 - 1 cup shredded lettuce (approximately 3.5 ounces)
12 - 1 medium tomato, diced
13 - ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
14 - ½ cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream (approximately 4 fluid ounces)
15 - 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
16 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

→ Spicy Sauce

17 - 2 tablespoons hot sauce (sriracha or preferred brand)
18 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

# Directions:

01 - Combine smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Coat both sides of chicken breasts evenly with the spice mixture.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place seasoned chicken in pan and cook for 6 to 7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Transfer chicken to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.
03 - Whisk together hot sauce and mayonnaise in a small bowl until smooth and well combined.
04 - Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for 15 to 20 seconds per side or microwave for 10 to 15 seconds until flexible and easy to roll.
05 - Spread 1 tablespoon of Greek yogurt or sour cream over each tortilla. Layer lettuce, diced tomato, red onion slices, and avocado on top of the sauce.
06 - Arrange sliced chicken over vegetables. Drizzle with spicy sauce, sprinkle with fresh cilantro if desired, and add a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
07 - Fold in both sides of each tortilla, then roll tightly from bottom to top to secure filling. Cut wraps diagonally in half and serve immediately.

# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • That spicy creamy sauce hits all the right notes without overwhelming the fresh vegetables
  • Everything comes together in thirty minutes but tastes like you put way more thought into it
02 -
  • Letting the chicken rest is not optional because slicing it too soon lets all those juices run onto your cutting board instead of staying in the meat
  • Warm tortillas make the difference between a wrap that holds together and one that splits apart the moment you pick it up
03 -
  • Use two cutting boards so you do not end up with spicy paprika everywhere
  • Warming your tortillas makes them more forgiving when you fold them
