# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • You get all that gorgeous tiki bar aesthetic without the morning-after regrets
  • The layered grenadine creates such a stunning presentation that guests assume it took forever to make
  • Everything comes together in under five minutes with ingredients you can grab at any grocery store
02 -
  • Fresh lime juice makes or breaks this recipe, bottled juice simply does not have the same bright punch
  • The grenadine needs to be poured slowly down the side of the glass or it will mix instead of layer
  • Orgeat syrup can be found in the cocktail aisle or made at home if you are feeling ambitious
03 -
  • If you cannot find orgeat syrup, almond syrup works in a pinch or make your own by blending almonds with sugar water
  • The drink tastes even better if you let it sit for a minute before sipping, allowing the flavors to meld together
