Tropical white tea blended with sweet guava and zesty lemon for a cooling beverage

# What You'll Need:

→ Tea Base

01 - 4 cups water
02 - 4 white tea bags

→ Guava Lemonade Base

03 - 1 cup guava juice (100% pure, unsweetened preferred)
04 - 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3–4 lemons)
05 - 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
06 - 1/2 cup cold water

→ Garnish & Serve

07 - Ice cubes
08 - Lemon slices
09 - Fresh mint leaves (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Boil 4 cups of water and let it cool for 1 minute to avoid scalding the tea. Steep the white tea bags in the hot water for 3–4 minutes. Remove tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
02 - In a large pitcher, combine guava juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and 1/2 cup cold water. Stir well until fully incorporated.
03 - Add the cooled white tea to the pitcher and mix thoroughly. Taste and adjust sweetness with more simple syrup if desired.
04 - Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for best flavor. To serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the guava white tea lemonade over. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint.

# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • The white tea brings this incredible lightness that keeps the drink from feeling cloying or heavy
  • It strikes that perfect balance between tangy lemon and lush guava that makes you want to refill immediately
02 -
  • White tea is unforgiving about steeping time — go over 5 minutes and it gets unpleasantly bitter
  • The drink needs at least 30 minutes in the fridge for all the flavors to become friends
03 -
  • Mix up a big batch of simple syrup and keep it in the fridge — it dissolves instantly in cold drinks
  • Pink guava juice gives you better color and more floral notes than white guava
