All your favorite burger flavors piled into a fresh lettuce bowl with juicy beef, cheese, veggies, and special sauce.

# What You'll Need:

→ Beef

01 - 1 lb lean ground beef
02 - 1 tsp salt
03 - ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
04 - 1 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1 tsp onion powder

→ Salad Base

06 - 6 cups chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
07 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
08 - ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
09 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
10 - 1 dill pickle, sliced

→ Sauce

11 - ½ cup mayonnaise
12 - 2 tbsp ketchup
13 - 1 tbsp yellow mustard
14 - 1 tsp white vinegar
15 - 1 tsp pickle relish
16 - ¼ tsp smoked paprika

→ Optional Toppings

17 - 1 avocado, sliced
18 - 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
19 - Sesame seeds

# Directions:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, approximately 6 to 8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
02 - While the beef cooks, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, white vinegar, pickle relish, and smoked paprika in a small bowl until smooth and well combined. Set aside until ready to serve.
03 - Divide chopped lettuce evenly among four serving bowls. Arrange cherry tomatoes, red onion slices, shredded cheddar cheese, and dill pickle slices on top of the lettuce in each bowl.
04 - Spoon the cooked ground beef over the salad ingredients in each bowl. Drizzle generously with the prepared burger sauce, ensuring even distribution across all servings.
05 - Top each bowl with optional ingredients such as sliced avocado, crumbled bacon, or a sprinkle of sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately while beef is still warm.

# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • All the burger satisfaction without the post-meal carb slump that makes you want to nap on the couch
  • The homemade sauce is the kind of thing you will want to put on everything else in your life
02 -
  • The sauce needs to sit for at least 10 minutes in the fridge to let the flavors come together properly
  • Warm beef over cold lettuce is the temperature contrast that makes this work so do not let the beef cool completely
03 -
  • Crisp your bacon ahead of time and crumble it over the top for that perfect salty crunch
  • Let the sauce come to room temperature before serving so it drizzles beautifully
