Beef Sliders Cheese Pickles (Printable)

Mini beef sliders with melted cheddar cheese and crisp pickles, perfect for casual meals or parties.

# What You'll Need:

→ Beef Patties

01 - 1.1 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
02 - 1 tsp kosher salt
03 - 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
04 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder

→ Cheese & Toppings

05 - 8 slices cheddar or American cheese
06 - 16 dill pickle slices
07 - 8 slider buns

→ Condiments

08 - 2 tbsp mayonnaise
09 - 2 tbsp yellow mustard
10 - 2 tbsp ketchup

→ Optional Garnishes

11 - 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
12 - 8 small lettuce leaves

# Directions:

01 - Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat until evenly hot.
02 - Gently combine ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl. Divide mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than the buns to account for shrinkage.
03 - Place patties on the hot cooking surface and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and reaching desired doneness.
04 - During the final minute of cooking, top each patty with a cheese slice and cover the pan to melt completely.
05 - Lightly toast slider buns cut-side down on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
06 - Spread mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup evenly on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
07 - Place a cheese-topped patty on each prepared bun base. Add 2 pickle slices per slider along with optional onion and lettuce. Crown with bun tops and serve immediately.

# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • These sliders vanish faster than you can grill them, making you the hero of any gathering without spending hours in the kitchen.
  • The juicy beef combined with melty cheese and tangy pickles creates that perfect bite sized satisfaction that regular burgers somehow never quite achieve.
02 -
  • Resist the urge to press down on the patties with your spatula or you will lose all those precious juices that make the sliders so tender.
  • The key to even cooking is letting the patties sear undisturbed for those first few minutes so they develop proper browning.
03 -
  • Make a slight indentation in the center of each raw patty to prevent them from puffing up into balls while cooking.
  • Let the seasoned beef sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before hitting the pan for more even cooking.
