01 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
02 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce (gluten-free if needed)
03 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
06 - ½ teaspoon ground cumin
07 - ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
08 - ½ teaspoon salt

→ Kebabs

09 - 1¼ pounds (550 grams) beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into 1.5-inch cubes
10 - 1 large red bell pepper, cut into 1.5-inch pieces
11 - 1 large yellow bell pepper, cut into 1.5-inch pieces
12 - 1 large green bell pepper, cut into 1.5-inch pieces
13 - 1 medium red onion, cut into 1.5-inch chunks
14 - 2 tablespoons olive oil for brushing
15 - Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
16 - Lemon wedges (optional for serving)

# Directions:

01 - In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, black pepper, and salt. Add beef cubes, toss to coat evenly, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, up to 8 hours for enhanced flavor.
02 - If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during cooking.
03 - Thread marinated beef, red, yellow, and green bell peppers, and red onion alternately onto the skewers until fully assembled.
04 - Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
05 - Brush the assembled kebabs with olive oil. Grill for 10 to 12 minutes, turning every 2 to 3 minutes, until beef is browned and cooked to desired doneness.
06 - Remove kebabs from the grill, let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.

# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • The marinade is a little secret that seeps deep into each beef cube for tender, juicy bites you’ll want to share with everyone you know
  • The colorful bell peppers not only add crunch and sweetness but also brighten up your plate in the most inviting way
02 -
  • Marinating the beef overnight is a game changer for tenderness and flavor—don’t skip it if you have the time
  • Soaking wooden skewers prevents them from catching fire, which saves you from a smoky disaster
03 -
  • Cut beef uniformly so every piece cooks at the same rate—no surprises
  • Flip kebabs frequently for even char and to keep the meat juicy inside
