# What You'll Need:

→ Beef Patties

01 - 1.1 lbs ground beef, 80/20 blend recommended
02 - 1 tsp kosher salt
03 - 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
04 - 0.5 tsp garlic powder
05 - 0.5 tsp onion powder

→ Slider Assembly

06 - 8 mini slider buns
07 - 8 slices cheddar or American cheese
08 - 16 dill pickle slices
09 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
10 - 0.5 small red onion, thinly sliced, optional
11 - 1 tbsp yellow mustard, optional

# Directions:

01 - Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
02 - In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Avoid overmixing to maintain texture.
03 - Divide the beef into 8 equal portions and shape into small patties, making them slightly larger than the buns as they will shrink during cooking.
04 - Grill or pan-fry the patties for 2-3 minutes per side until reaching desired doneness.
05 - Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last 30 seconds of cooking to allow melting.
06 - Brush the cut sides of the slider buns with melted butter and toast them on the grill or in a pan until golden brown.
07 - Place a patty on each bun bottom, top with pickle slices, onion if using, and mustard if desired. Cover with the bun tops.
08 - Serve immediately while hot for best results.

# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • Everything cooks in under 20 minutes, meaning youre eating faster than delivery would arrive
  • The 8020 beef blend creates those gorgeous juices that soak right into the toasted bun
02 -
  • Never press down on the patties with your spatula, that precious juice running onto the coals is flavor leaving the building
  • Let the cheese do its thing undisturbed, trying to speed up melting makes it slide right off onto the grill
03 -
  • Make a tiny indentation in the center of each raw patty, this prevents them from puffing up into balls while cooking
  • Let the meat come to room temperature for about 20 minutes before cooking, it helps them cook evenly and stay juicy
