12 - Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
02 - If using frozen tortellini, cook according to package instructions; drain and let cool slightly.
03 - Arrange three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs and milk, and one with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, herbs, salt, and pepper mixed together.
04 - Dredge each tortellini in flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
05 - Place breaded tortellini in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking oil.
06 - Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until golden brown and crispy.
07 - Serve hot with warm marinara sauce and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • The air fryer gives you that perfect fried crunch without the mess of hot oil
  • These disappear faster than you can make them, so consider doubling the batch
02 -
  • Overcrowding the basket leads to soggy spots, so work in batches if needed
  • The temperature drops when you add the tortellini, so dont be tempted to increase the heat
03 -
  • Use one hand for wet ingredients and one for dry to keep your fingers from getting completely coated in breading
  • Let the breaded tortellini rest for 5 minutes before air frying, this helps the coating adhere better
